He restored a fractured banking relationship after a period of significant losses and extended the credit facility. The restructuring plan Jim implemented reduced operating expenses by 40%. As a result of those efforts the company was returned to a positive cash flow position, creating a platform for future growth.
Appointed CEO for a credit card services company after a receivership was established as a result of actions initiated by the Federal Trade Commission claiming fraudulent misrepresentation. The project required assessing the viability of the business if operated legitimately, restarting operations, hiring sales agents, and developing tools to monitor operations. While operating the business, establishing open lines of communication with claimants, defendants counsel, and regulatory agency personnel. Once stabilized and shown to be profitable created the offering memorandum, solicited buyers, managed due diligence, and sold the operation.
